Several things, like the level of the Farm and the land next to it, affect how many berries can be picked. Unicorns are also important to farming because they can be put to work on the farm and help bring in more crops.

As a player moves through the game, they can link up to nine land plots in a wallet to make a 3×3 grid and get bonuses for farming and other things.
