SuperWalk is a blockchain-based Move-To-Earn service that generates coins through walking, offering rewards for physical activity.

SuperWalk introduces a blockchain-powered Move-To-Earn platform, offering tokens as rewards for physical activity. Over the preceding nine months, the SuperWalk team has managed Proground, a running app, diligently studying user behaviors and exercise patterns. With a mission to encourage physical activity on a broader scale, the team merged convertible token rewards with gaming elements, creating a powerful incentive structure.

Evolving into a Web 3.0 fitness platform, SuperWalk now presents an innovative way for individuals to prioritize their health through walking and earning tokens. All those interested in a healthier lifestyle are invited to join this unique endeavor.

SuperWalk Review

SuperWalk introduces a novel NFT reward-oriented Move-To-Earn concept that encourages physical activity while offering tokens and NFT rewards. Divided into two modes, SuperWalk caters to both non-NFT owners and NFT holders. In Basic Mode, those without shoe NFTs can earn $WALK tokens by meeting step goals within a daily limit.

On the other hand, Pro Mode caters to shoe NFT holders, enabling them to earn $WALK and $GRND tokens through walking and running. These shoe NFTs boast unique designs and come with various upgradeable stats and grades. Stats include Performance for efficient rewards, Resilience for wear and tear, Comfort for physical condition, and Luck for item acquisition. Shoe NFTs range from Normal to Legendary grades, each determined by the sum of their default stats.

Tokenomics

SuperWalk has embraced the Dual Token Model, ensuring a robust and sustainable token economy. Utility Tokens ($WALK) fuel app engagement, while Governance Tokens ($GRND) drive project decisions, minimizing mutual value interference.

Community Response

  • Reddy Eddy found SuperWalk to be somewhat similar to Sweatcoin in free mode but expressed dissatisfaction with the limited gift card options available in America. They also mentioned their reluctance to pay for premium features, leading to the decision to uninstall the app.
  • NINJA PEACE highlighted SuperWalk’s Dual Token Model, emphasizing the use of Utility Tokens ($WALK) for app engagement and Governance Tokens ($GRND) for project decisions. They clarified that users need to buy NFT shoes on the app to earn points, and becoming a premium member is necessary for access.
  • kamehamehayt criticized SuperWalk, describing it as a “trash app” that claims to reward users for walking but requires frequent ad watching. They expressed frustration with the app’s advertising-heavy approach and preferred more direct ways to earn rewards.
