Animoca Brands makes strategic investment in Bondex


Bondex, a UK-based crowdsourcing recruitment platform, has announced a strategic investment from Animoca Brands, a prominent player in digital property rights within gaming and the open metaverse. This collaboration is aimed at strengthening Bondex’s platform, which currently serves over 1.5 million active users monthly, as the company prepares for further growth and a token launch later in the year.

Role of Animoca Brands

The recent investment from Animoca Brands will primarily be used to enhance Bondex’s platform and integrate it deeper into Animoca’s ecosystem. This strategic move aligns with Bondex’s goal of expanding its footprint in the web3 landscape and reaching a broader audience.

The investment follows a successful public sale on CoinList, where Bondex raised $6.5 million through the ‘CoinList Rewards Campaign,’ attracting a record-breaking 20,000 participants. Ignacio Palomera, founder and CEO of Bondex, echoed Yat Sui’s sentiments, emphasizing the significance of the investment and partnership with Animoca Brands.

Founded in August 2021, Bondex has differentiated itself in the recruitment sector by gamifying the referral process. The platform encourages users to refer suitable candidates from their networks, offering rewards that incentivize engagement and streamline talent sourcing and management. This approach has garnered significant attention and funding, including over $3 million from investors such as Chainlink and C2 Ventures.

Over 1 Million Monthly Active Users

Bondex has successfully onboarded several recruiting partners, including leading brands like Binance, Blockchain.com, Chainlink, and Ankr. The platform simplifies recruitment processes, benefiting both recruiters and candidates, while integrating web3 principles like reward mechanisms into its operations.

With over 5 million downloads and more than 1 million monthly active users since inception, Bondex anticipates further growth with its native utility token launch scheduled for later this year. “We are pleased to welcome Animoca Brands as a strategic partner, investor, and recruiter on our platform,” Palomera added, highlighting the comprehensive nature of the collaboration.
